Purpose of the position

You will need to be a qualified Marketing Specialist, have experience in developing marketing concepts and making market analysis, public relations, branding and positioning, corporate reputation and internal communications across diverse industries.

Duties and responsibilities

Travel to South East Asia and beyond to represent our company, develop marketing concept and make market analysis by directly cooperating with our partners;

Develop marketing information to support tactical plans for new or existing products;

Maintain product catalogue and product database;

Gather and interpret product, customer and market research data;

Interface with other areas of the business in addressing product questions;

Analyze Marketing and competitive data and consolidates findings to support local and regional Marketing strategy development;

Identify market opportunities and advises on the development, coordination and implementation of plans for pricing and promoting a company's goods and services;

Assist with the development, writing, and communication of Marketing plans, promotional recaps, creative briefs, project recommendations, and presentations;

Develop opportunities to add additional value to other company initiatives including Internet Marketing, Direct Marketing, Tradeshow Development, etc.;

Maintain Marketing plans, programs, and initiatives that are strategic assets to the business and all clients;

Monitor all processes and implement improvements to enhance marketing productivity;

Specialist knowledge and skills

Understanding and applying job requirements

English language skills and knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures

Fluent Mandarin both written and spoken

Ability to work in a team as well as an individual
Ability to manage time, set priorities, plan and organise one's own work
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Qualification and experience

Bachelor degree in Marketing, Sales, Economics or related field. Alternatively any bachelor degree with related subjects content.

Experience in business trips to South East Asia region is desirable.

Conditions of employment

Flexible hours of work: 38 Hours per week. Total remuneration package is $60,000 per year. Mandatory superannuation contribution of 9.25% is calculated on a top of the base rate.
